The card will be supported by a clash for the WBC 'interim' light-heavyweight belt between David Benavidez and Oleksandr Gvozdyk, who joined Martin and Davis for a double-header presser.

However, the lightweights stole the show.

When they faced off to begin with, Davis slapped Martin's hand away and the pair had to be separated by security.

"He's doing a lot of talking, he's trying to show he's a frontrunner," said Davis.

Matchroom Boxing promoter Eddie Hearn slams Gervonta Davis and brands him an 'idiot' after his Ryan Garcia tweets

"I'm telling you it's a different beast in front of him, no one that is walking with him will be able to save him on June 15.

"And there's a lot of s*** built up and I'm going to take it out on him, I'm sorry it's got to be him."

Davis has been out of action since his seventh-round body shot knockout win over Ryan Garcia in April last year.

Shortly after the victory, he spent 44 days in prison for violating the terms of a sentence which initially saw him avoid jail time.

Last May, Davis was sentenced to 90 days of home detention, three years probation and 200 hours of community service over his November 2020 hit-and-run car crash which injured four people.

He was later found guilty of violating the terms of his home detention and as a result, was ordered to serve the rest of his 90-day sentence in jail.

However, he is now free to move on with his career after having his ankle monitor removed and will box undefeated 18-0 pro Martin in his first fight back after 14 months.

"I've been in an underdog since I started, from the beginning," said Martin before he was interrupted by Davis.

"Let me talk, you're doing all that tweeting," he added. "You ain't been in there with nobody like this.

"I've been watching everything, I know how he walks, I'm going to touch his ass up."

Davis butted in: "He's from the suburbs, me and him ain't got nothing in common.

"But that little female he got, she’s probably around here somewhere. I’ll catch up with her."

Davis and Martin capped off their press conference with a heated debate over sparring.

'Tank' got out his phone and started showing Martin footage of their rounds as they exchanged verbal jabs.

This lasted for almost six minutes before finally going their separate ways.
