West Bromwich Albion star Sam Johnstone has hit back on social media over criticism for his recent performances via his official Twitter page.
The Baggies stopper has come in for stick from certain sections of the West Brom supporters with some claiming he isn’t good enough to be occupying the number one jersey.
Johnstone has responded to his West Bromwich Albion critics by saying: “Should save everything according to some people.”

An Albion supporter messaged him on Twitter stating he should have saved Reading’s goal in the 1-1 draw played out at the Hawthorns last night.
In reality, Ovie Ejaria’s well-placed finish from outside the box left Johnstone with little opportunity to do anything other than watch it hit the back of the net. Perhaps there should be question marks of the closing down from the Baggies midfielders and defenders to allow Ejaria that much room running towards goal.
It appears that the former Aston Villa and Manchester United man has become somewhat of a scapegoat for some of the Baggies faithful this season.
Johnstone is yet to keep a clean sheet this season, with Albion having conceded in all four of their Championship matches so far against Nottingham Forest, Millwall, Luton Town and Reading.
In the first game of the season against Nottingham Forest, the stopper probably could and should have done better with the goal and would openly admit himself to be disappointed to concede in that scenario.
However replacing Ben Foster who left in 2018 was always going to be a tough act to follow for the 26-year-old. Some of the criticism towards Johnstone is in some parts warranted as there are clearly improvements to be made but surely the fans need to get behind him and support him rather than hurl abuse in his direction after each game.
