Gervonta Davis will take on Frank Martin in Las Vegas this summer as he defends his WBA lightweight world title.
‘Tank’ hasn’t fought for over a year since beating Ryan Garcia in April 2023 after being forced to spend two months in prison.
But after doing his time, Davis is now free to continue his boxing career and defend the crown he claimed after Devin Haney vacated before moving up in weight.
Martin is ranked No 2 behind Davis meaning he gets the first shot at the belt, aiming to take his impressive career record up to 19-0.
Davis vs Martin: Date and how to follow
This lightweight title fight will take place on Saturday, June 15.
It will be held at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, USA.

Davis vs Martin: What has been said?
Ahead of his bout with Martin, Davis has been targeted by Garcia.
‘Tank’ handed ‘KingRy’ the only defeat of his career so far and his former foe wants to step into the ring for a rematch soon.
After beating Haney, Garcia posted on X saying: “Everyone wanna talk about the little Stupid tank.
“Let’s fight, [enough] of that funny talk. Come see me at 144[lbs] and [let’s] stop the talk.”
Whether Davis wants that rematch is unknown but he weighed in on what Garcia should do next in a now-deleted tweet after the Haney bout.
Davis wrote: "It's best Ryan retire now. He gonna get hurt bad."
