Ross Halls takes a look at a classic encounter against Wolverhampton Wanderers ahead of their clash with Ipswich Town this weekend....
Today we throwback to a Championship clash between the two sides when Jim Magilton's Town secured an impressive 3-0 win over Mick McCarthy's Wolves at Portman Road in October 2007.

The Blues could have been behind in the opening five minutes when Town goalkeeper Neil Alexander brought down Michael Kightly in the area.
However, Freddy Eastwood's stuttering run-up didn't fool Alexander, who made his second penalty save in two games by diving to his right to keep out the spot kick.
Town opened the scoring just before the break when Owen Garvan's through ball played in Alan Lee, who curled the ball beyond Wayne Hennessey and into the net for his seventh goal of the season.

Seven minutes after the restart, the Blues made it 2-0 when Jon Walters took a quick throw-in, sending Pablo Counago away on the right of the area.
The Spaniard danced and juked his way past a couple of defenders, before slamming the ball into the net for his fourth goal of the season.
Town added a third late on through Danny Haynes, who came off the bench to score a clever breakaway goal when the forward twisted and turned in the area, before firing the ball into the net to seal all three points.

This was the tenth successive home win for Town which moved them into the play-off places - however that season saw Magilton's side miss out on a play-off spot by one point...
Town XI: Alexander, Wright, Wilnis, De Vos, Harding, Walters, Garvan, Legwinski, Clarke (Roberts), Lee (Haynes), Counago (Bruce).
